When does the season start?
We are projecting a start date of mid to late April. More details will be provided as the season approaches.
Do I need to live in Woonsocket to play?
No.
When is registration due?
Registration is due by the first week of March. Late applications will only be accepted 5 days after this date. All late applications will be charged a fee of $10 for the first player and $5 for any additional players.
What is included with my registration fee?
Each child receives a jersey (not a t-shirt), shorts, and socks. In addition, trophies are given out at the end of the season.
How long is the season and what day of the week do we play games?
The season is 8 weeks long. We play games on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to normally 1:00 pm, one 50-minute game per team. Your child will be given a more detailed schedule by their coach.
Where is the field located?
The field is located at Rivers Edge Sports Complex. This is located at 135 Davison Ave, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
What equipment is needed to play?
Shin guards are required to play; soccer cleats are recommended but not required, please no baseball or football cleats. In addition, parents may elect to purchase their children a soccer ball. Children 8 and under use a size 3 ball, size 4 balls are for children between the ages 8-12, and those over 12 use a size 5 ball. Please make sure to purchase the right size ball for your child if you decide to do so.
What is the main way to contact Cracovia?
You can contact Cracovia through our email or message us on our Facebook page. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
Can my child wear jewelry to games and practices?
No. Jewelry should not be worn to either games or practices as it poses a safety hazard. Referees will not tolerate jewelry on the field; the player will have to take it off or be dismissed from the game.
Can I be on a team with my friends?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests.
When and where are the practices?
Your coach will contact you about the time and location of practices. Each team has a different time and location.
What if it rains?
If it rains there will be an announcement on the Cracovia soccer Facebook page of whether or not games will be held, and sometimes not all games are canceled for the day. In addition, your coach should contact you and let you know. Be advised: we do play in the rain so do not assume the game is canceled if it is raining please check the website and Facebook. Rain dates will be the following week, your coach will provide you with details.
How can I be a coach?
To be a coach, you MUST fill out a coach’s application.
Are there playoffs?
No, there are no playoffs since it is a recreational league.
Does my child have to be experienced?
No! Children of all ages and experience levels are welcome to come and learn soccer or improve their skills!

Is there going to be a walk-in registration? When? Where is it? Can I Pay with cash or check?
Walk-in registrations will be held at the Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church hall, which is located at 174 Harris Ave Woonsocket, RI 02895. This is the ONLY time you can pay with cash or check. A pamphlet will be attached with more information in the coming weeks.
